Astell recommends the use of softened water with it's steam generators. The softness of the water will elongate the life of the heaters withing the generator.
Astell offers two types of generator.
AAW001 - Single unit - requires salt
AAW002 - Double unit - includes the water softener and a separate brine tank - ideal for installation in difficult or restricted positions
